CAPLA Chiron at MISSABCON 2026

CAPLA was proud to be part of MISSABCON 2026 in Chennai, held jointly with the 26th PASMISS and 5th COSSCON and bringing together leading voices in minimally invasive spine surgery from across the Asia-Pacific region. At the conference, we introduced Chiron, CAPLA’s robotic navigation platform for cranial and spine surgery, to the spine surgery community. More than presenting technology, MISSABCON gave our team an important opportunity to engage directly with surgeons about the realities of modern spine surgery—the need for precision, efficient workflows, intuitive navigation and robotic assistance that integrates naturally into the operating room. These conversations are central to how we build at CAPLA. Clinical insight and engineering development must evolve together if surgical robotics is to create meaningful value for surgeons and their patients. We are grateful to the MISSABCON, PASMISS and COSSCON community for the discussions, feedback and enthusiasm, and to Dr. Rana and the GESCO team for their continued collaboration and support. For CAPLA, Chiron represents another step toward our larger vision: creating an interconnected surgical ecosystem where navigation, robotics, visualization and data work together to support the surgeon.
